Synopsis[]

Pappy is tired of Popeye feeding him nothing but spinach. So Pappy concocts many schemes to get massive quantities of junk food. As his father keeps getting sick, Popeye keeps calling a doctor. They all say Pappy is not eating healthy, so Popeye starts to wonder if spinach is indeed healthy. Popeye begins to test how good spinach is, then finds out what Pappy has been doing. Popeye tries to make his father understand that he must eat better to stay strong, which Pappy only believes after the neighbor kid beats him up.
