"Popeye Snags the Seahag" is an episode from The All-New Popeye Hour's "Popeye" segment for Hanna-Barbera Productions in association with King Features Syndicate. It first aired on December 23, 1978. The producer was Art Scott and it was directed by George Gordon, Carl Urbano and Rudy Zamora. Popeye was voiced by Jack Mercer and Seahag was voiced by Marilyn Schreffler.


A ship owner calls Popeye at the office of Private-Eye Popeye. The ship owner tells him that a whole fleet of ships were hijacked by Madam No-No a.k.a. the Seahag. Popeye sets out to pay the Seahag and her assistant Hugo a visit. He plans to end their stealing days forever.

Popeye soon finds out that this job will not be quite so easy. The Seahag sets traps for Popeye so that he cannot get to her. In the end, Popeye manages to get by the traps and defeat her.
